How to enable lightbox for Slideshow and Reel Gallery sections

On Squarespace, you can enable Gallery lightbox for Gallery blocks and sections in Grid layouts, also with the help of Lightbox Studio - Squarespace lightbox plugin, you can enable Gallery lightbox for other layout of Gallery blocks (like Slideshow or Stacked).

Today, I am gladly announce that other Gallery sections layouts now can be lightboxified with the help of Lightbox Studio, that includes

• Slideshow: Simple

• Slideshow: Fullscreen

• Slideshow: Reel

How to enable lightbox for Slideshow sections

Unlike Grid layout Gallery section, which you can enable/disable the lightbox per-section, enabling Lightbox for Slideshow section will be affected site-wide, that mean once you turn on the feature, it will apply to all Slideshow Gallery sections on your site

• Install and activate Lightbox Studio on your website

• Navigate to the Playground on Lightbox Studio

• Make sure the Slideshow gallery (7.1) lightbox setting is checked

• Switch to CODE tab and copy the generated snippet

• Replace the snippet with the old beyondspace snippet in your Footer injection.
