Squarespace Datepicker Compatibility
Over the past year, Squarespace has released at least three major updates to their Form Blocks and Product Forms. Staying ahead of these changes is challenging but crucial for your customer experience. If your datepicker plugin seems "off," simply update to the latest version.
In January 2026, we also added the bookingWindow feature, which allows you to define exactly how far into the future a customer can select a date.
Synced Blocks vs. SQSMODS Accordion Search
We recently tested an exciting feature from SQSMODS: a search bar for the Accordion block. While it performs well, we noticed a minor glitch where the search bar would flash and disappear when used with Synced Blocks.
Our latest update fixes this conflict, ensuring both plugins now work together seamlessly.
Freebies & Maintenance Updates
Classic Gallery Block: Squarespace recently updated its block selector, which caused the previous version of this block to stop functioning. We have released a patch to address this immediately.
Blog Publish Datepicker: Squarespace has updated its publication time input yet again! The input has shifted from a range selector to a text field, which initially broke the plugin. A new update has landed to fix this, and we’ve ensured the datepicker now works for Portfolio projects, in addition to Blogs and Events.
Squarespace Date Format: This feature is now integrated directly into the Squarespace dashboard via Ground Control. We recommend that existing users remove their old snippet and re-enable the plugin through Ground Control to ensure you are running the most stable version.
