Where has the Additional Info section gone in the Product Editor?
The "Additional Info" tab has been removed from the back-end Product Editor. Instead of being tucked away in a pop-up menu, it has been moved directly onto the Product Detail Page (PDP) itself as a native page section.
How do I edit my existing blocks and content? To find your missing form blocks or text content:
Go to your Products menu and click on a specific product to view its live preview.
Click the EDIT button in the top-left corner of the site preview.
Scroll down below the main product image and description. Your old "Additional Info" content is now sitting there as a standard Page Section.
You can now edit your form blocks, text, and images directly on the page just like any other part of your website.
What if I don't see any content or need to add new info? If you are creating a new product and don't see the section yet, simply scroll down to the bottom of the product area while in Edit Mode and click ADD SECTION.
Why did Squarespace change this? This update (affecting only version 7.1) aims to make the editing experience more "visual." Instead of working in a small, restricted window, you now have the full power of Squarespace’s page editor to build out your product's extra details.
